Who We Are

The Humaniversity is an experiential school for personal growth and professional development. We offer workshops and programs that give you the opportunity to explore who you are, what’s driving you and and how you can lead a more fulfilling life.

Whether you are struggling with your personal situation, or simply want more from life, we are dedicated to support you in reaching your goals. Our unique living-in community consisting of experienced staff and fellow participants serves as the nourishing base for growth and healing to take place.

We are located directly on the North Sea Coast of The Netherlands, about an hour from Amsterdam, and for over 40 years have been working with people for a better world.

Humaniversity Therapy

What We Do

Humaniversity Therapy is a dynamic and interactive method of encouraging healthy personal growth. Whether you are struggling with a personal challenge or want to maximize your enjoyment of life, we offer the tools, skills and setting to support you on your journey.

Our work can help you to overcome blocks and insecurities and let go of old, painful feelings and beliefs that have led you into the same frustrating situations over and over again. In addition, it prompts you to discover your many positive qualities, such as joy, compassion, self-esteem, a spiritual connection, your ability to form relationships and your great capacity for love.

Our Therapists

We are an international group of therapists from 9 different countries working with all aspects of Humaniversity Therapy. The Humaniversity was founded by Veeresh, who trained and inspired us and many others by sharing his vast experience, his spirited therapeutic innovations and most of all his way of sharing love.

Humaniversity Therapy keeps evolving and integrating new approaches. Each one of us brings their individual expertise, their attentive care and their unique passion into the programs they lead.

The founder of Humaniversity

Veeresh

Veeresh was an innovative therapist and an inspiring teacher whose work touched many lives. His challenging and creative approach allowed people to move beyond self-imposed limits into a fresh understanding and grounded self-confidence.

For Veeresh, the greatest human art was friendship. Because of this, he developed a community and a therapy where friendship is the highest value.

Veeresh left his body in 2015.

OSHO

Osho was an Indian mystic, master and teacher. His philosophy and teachings have inspired much of the work of the OSHO Humaniversity. Osho promoted a life based on awareness, love and responsibility.

Westerners were especially attracted to him because he explained topics from Eastern and Western philosophical and spiritual traditions in a lighthearted way, making them easily accessible.

Osho left his body in 1990.

I like Osho saying that therapy is a function of love. Once we teach everybody how to love each other then we'll be out of work. That's our goal to teach everybody to love each other. -Veeresh

Professional Education

The Humaniversity is an Institute for Therapy and Education and offers education leading towards a profession in working with people.

The Humaniversity is registered with CRKBO (Central Register for Vocational Education) Netherlands.

IHTAN

International Humaniversity Therapist Association Netherlands (IHTAN) was created in 2008. It aims to regulate the professional practice of its therapists and to establish links and recognition with other professional organizations that are active in the field of psychotherapy and alternative health.
